"Two-Headed (Nostalgic) Giant" - Sealed Format

Here you can find the rules for the Two-Headed (Nostalgic) GiantTournament of the Italian Mega-Weekend.


It's a tournament for teams of 2 members each. Each team will receive a Batman vs Joker starter deck (2 pre-built decks of 40 cards each) and 4 DOR boosters.

Each team will have to create 2 different decks with the following limitations:
1) Each deck will have a minimum of 30 cards
2) Each deck will have a minimum of 16 cards from the “base” team (Gotham Knights and Arkham Inmates)
3) The Gotham deck will have at least one card called "Batman", The Arkham deck will have at least one card called "Joker"
4) The Gotham deck cannot have any card that refers to Arkham Inmates team, The Arkham deck cannot have any card that refers to Gotham Knights team.

Development of the tournament

The tournament is made of 3 Swiss Rounds + Top 4. The 3 rounds of Swiss will be different.

Swiss rounds

Turn 1 and 3: Team vs. Team with the following rules:
a) Common 100 Endurance total
b) Common front row, support row and hidden zone
c) The characters of your teammate can be targets of your plot twists and effects
d) Gotham Knights and Arkham Inmates affiliations are considered crossover’d.
e) Separate Resources, KO’d piles and decks

Time 2: Good vs. Evil game:
a) The Gotham Knights deck player of a team vs. the Arkham Inmates deck player of the other
b) Normal constructed rules
c) Each victory is worth in itself: that is, in turn 2, each team can earn 2 victories (or 1 victory and 1 loss, for example)

Top4
Semifinals: Team vs. Team

Finals (1st-2nd final and 3rd-4th final): One Team vs. Team game followed by a Good vs. Evil game

The team with more won games (2 out of 3) win the tournament.

Players who don’t reach the Top4 will be able to play a Booster Draft Side Event.
