Mega-weekend LYON 2011

De notre coté 3 toujours sur la liste: Stéphane(Didaho), Ulysse(Cyclops) et Gabriel(Wolverine...pour l'instant), j'en ai un peu bavé pour faire des decks pour tout le monde, mais c'est fait! (Vivement qu'ils fassent leurs propres decks!).
Arrivée prévu à 10h54 à Lyon PartDieu, on a largement le temps de passer à l'hôtel (Métro Guillotière), de se restaurer dans le quartier puis de nous rendre à Trollune.

A samedi donc.

Je suis sur a 99% de venir ( merci stephane!!)
Jessayerai de venir en train avec stephane ( et de rentrer ac nico?)

Bon moi mes decks c'est encore un peu le bordel, mais on va dire que j'ai jusqu'à Samedi pour tout remettre à l'endroit.

Pour info: incertitude de recuperer les EA. Francois ayant déménagé son magasin, tout est en dépot en banlieue. Il va tacher d'y repasser d'ici demain pour que je gere, mais rien de sur... Aura-t-on assez de MEV en lots? :p

Double post pour la bonne cause:

En discutant un peu avec Scott thompson (de Vs system.org), il etait assez enthousiaste a l'idée qu'on puisse faire un report. Je peux prendre des photos avec mon Iphone et les uploader... on filmer quelques matchs....
Mais a tout hasard si quelqu'un a chez lui caméra + trepied pour filmer les tops, ce serait cool... :p

Le truc pas mal serait eventuellement avant/apres le tournois de recuperer les decklist si les gens sont d'accord pour les poster sur le net histoire de jouer le jeu comme les italiens!

Ok pour les deck-list (comme d'hab), mais après le tournoi bien sur...

Quant à être photographié ou pire filmé: si on ne filme que les cartes et les mains, pas de soucis, sinon prêtez moi un masque de deadpool !

On parle bien de filmer le terrain (d'où trépied :p )

Valises fin prêtes, demain lever 7 h 00 et en route pour de nouvelles et trépidantes aventures...

Superbe MEGA WE. Bravo à BB et Stéphane pour leur victoire dans les tournois. C'est particulièrement interessant de voir de nouveaux decks, de nouvelles façons de jouer.
Bravo aussi à Ulysse, Gabriel et Louis qui ont fait un beau tournoi.
Merci à vous d'être descendu de Paris.

Et surtout merci à Vincent pour l'organisation de cet event. C'était parfait (bon sauf le J1 mais c'est peut être parce que j'ai fait 1V 3D et 2B que je dis ça)

French mega-weekend report

The French mega-weekend was attended by 11 participants from Lyon and Paris. Unfortunately, players from other Europeans countries could not join us for the event. Nevertheless, it was a clear success in term of friendly atmosphere and card rivalries.

The mega-weekend was 2-day event:
- Saturday we had two parallels tournaments - one for adults (Marvel evolution draft and Block crisis construted events) and one for teen players (Justice League draft in French and a half-deck preconstructed event).
- Sunday all players could attend the same events: Golden BOYT and finally Silver (DCR-MUN).

DAY 1

Draft
Beastboy won the MEV draft and my son Louis won the DJL draft. Congrats to these two fellows!
I finished at the second place of the MEV draft and am pretty proud of my deck of Marauders with some shift additions (like Rogue). I lost in final Vs. a very good Beastboy with a very efficient Weapon X deck (I hate the Stepford Cuckoos).

The teens all constructed a deck revolving around the JLA and JLI characters! They all like good guys and don’t want to play with evil.

Block Crisis & Half-deck
Beastboy won (again) the Block Crisis event and Ulysse won the half-deck preconstructed event. Congrats to these two fellows!
Beastboy was playing to the perfection a Quickfate deck and won the final Vs. Julien with an old school Avengers Reservist deck. Personnally I was playing a Squad voltage deck and finished at the 3rd place after losing on game to Julien’s Avengers.

DAY 2

Golden BYOT
Beastboy won (again, again) the Golden BYOT event! He is a very talented player indeed!
The metagame was clearly in favour of TNNB and rush deck so he cleverly decided to play a very efficient Spider-stall deck. He won the final Vs. a TNNB deck piloted by ‘lucky drawer’ The Gotham Knight.
I decided to play a deck I know very well: MKKO because of its stability. I played my first match Vs. Beastboy and succeed to KO all his low drops and in the process forced him to underdrop on turn-5 to reform its board. Unfortunately for me the stability of my MKKO deck was not as consistent as in the last 6-month preparation and missed my higher drop for the finish. I was stall to turn-8 and flatten by a cosmic Spider-Man. Nevertheless I was (at this point) very confident in my deck for the following matches but my deck completely blown in my hands twice and I lost all my matches! What a revoltin’ development!

Silver
Stéphane won the Silver event and was able to beat Beastboy on the first round. Congrats to him!
Stéphane was playing a Hulk smash deck and won the final Vs. Kyle7 with is Outsiders.
I was playing a burn variant of the Wolverine direct and arrived at the 3rd place. That’s better than the last event!

Commentaires: Metagamé pour le format

- La plupart des cartes anti Brotherhood (system failure, ou des plots pour Gotham cops comme Home surgery ou encore beaucoup de bons boost de defense sont en Seuil 2,ainsi qu'un wolverine qui jouerai Advance Recon ce qui etait un réel probleme) ce qui permettait de s'affranchir totalement des matchup limites grace a Anne Marie Cortez a la place de Spoor (necessité de la jouer x4)
Pas d'arme efficace sans trop penaliser le deck face a Spiderman, ce qui a motivé mon choix

- Goblin Glider etait LA carte qui assurait la victoire face a F4 Stall avec Mr and Mrs Fantastic et Child name Valeria. C'etait aussi une bonne arme pour Gotham ou tout autre deck, qui assurait de mettre du break a chaque premiere attaque. Au pire, un remplacement en ressource via air strike assurait le +4 d'attaque, et de s'en debarasser

- Pas de tutors style soverign supperior, trop dangereux, trop de perte de CA si on joue face a gotham si on se prend une Bat got your tongue ou fizzle

Commentaire: Version classique où il faut abuser des Web counters, ne pas hesiter au tour 4 a reposer un Spider-Man Ultimates avec un Spider a 1 selon le deck en face (si deck rush style TNNB qui se met a curver , en posant senyaka au lieu de poser 3 tours 1, mettre un Sensational au tour 4 est plus efficace). Le tour 5 classique est un 2eme Ultimate ou le sensational et completer par Dropp1
AU tour 6, poser les 2 autres ultimates restants

- Omnipotence +Alternate Dropps: match Mirroir, nommer Scarlet Spider et prendre l'avantage sur l'adversaire. Omnipotence permet également contre les autres decks non spider-man jouant Omnipotence de nommer omnipotence!
Contre gotham, nommer Batman (drop 6+++) et si plusieurs omni, death of the dram/have a blast

- Mulligan condition = Empire state university. Alternative recommandée contre TNNB: 1 Gift wrapped+ une sortie confortable. Le GIFT WRAPPED au tour 3 est LA SEULE ARME EFFICACE CONTRE TNNB qui empeche le viol
Ensuite, le travail se fait tout seul a coup de web counters, sensational et on ecrase le mec avec les no more mr nice guy

- detrompez vous, No more Mr nice guy est INDISPENSABLE. En match mirroir, si on en a pas alors que l'autre en a: lose immediate. Il permet de mieux tenir face a tnnb que de recruter un SPiderman Dropp1 en lui mettant des web compteurs

- Spider-Man Zombie est l'arme anti wolverine: Exhaust tt les petits shield avec les web compteurs, et activer zombie (ne cible pas wolverine)

- HORRIBLE MATCHUP face a Injustice gang (lex luthor= game). Necessité de retirer la Spider Girl pour stabiliser les matchups plus probable

- Omnipotence n'est pas une fatalité contre ce deck. Possibilité d'alternate dropp si scarlet spider nommé.
Possibilité de saucer avec No more Mr nice guy ou controller avec gift wrapped si Spiderman Nommé

Commentaires: Toute la puissance du deck etait de le rendre quasi independant des fate artifact! Les fate sont parfois des dead draw/dead ressource surtout dans ce format où il y avaiit pleins de pete equipements ( Jared Stevens+++ dans blackbriar abuse ou n'importe quel deck control avec enemy of my enemy, LV12 intelligence, Harvey bullock...). Baser sur Luna Maximoff+++++

- Surement le plus puissant et le plus regulier des decks du format, peu vulnerable

- Soul world est ultra puissant, plus puissant qu'un Mr Mxyzptlk, car, c'est une Loc, terraform: pas de dead ressource. Pas de blue beetle pour la meme raison: UNE CARTE EN MOINS DANS LA MAIN EST UN BOOST EN MOINS SUR QUICKSILVER

- Un slot dispo sur le 2eme helm, qui fait office dans le pire des cas, de moteur de pioche

- Thanagarian invasion fait le deck... il permet de tuer dans les haut tours si on a foiré (6-7eme tour)

Pour moi, le meilleur deck du silver age, mais ca reste assez perso. Avec samuel on l'a vachement poffiné en enrichi d'idées (cf gotham de TGK)

Je regrette enormement d'avoir fait une sortie qui ne m'etait jamais arrivée au premier match du tournois silver: 0 tutors a part des mobilize, inutiles sans personne sur le terrain, que des gros personnage (le plus petit etant la rose wilson a 5.... que j'ai posé au tour 5 mais j'avais deja perdu).

Il y a une erreur sur mon deck
- 4 MYSTIQUE
-2 barnacle
On les avait change a la fin pck dans le format yavai pleinnde trucs pour gerer barnacle donc on perdait 3 d atk sur les autres persos
Mystique en hidden avec ses 2 de def etait bcp plus chiante qu un barnacle 1 /1 tt seul pas renforcable!
